I am going to buy this (these) today and reasons why

We have several around the house. I need to see if they are legit, the fire blankets look like maybe something to look into.

I like Junk headbands. I used to have 7 of them, but at some point lost 4 of them. So I bought 10 more.

“headbands are priced at seventeen bucks and people still pay for them” should go in the News that makes me say WTF thread.

OH! But they’re not just “any old” headbands . . . they’re BIG BANG headbands!!

i mean, if someone wanted to gift me a Coldsnap one, I’d definitely wear it, but I’m not buying it myself.

Excuse me, big bang LITE.

Small luxuries.

And they are really great at sweat wicking without being hot or heavy. I like them. Are they worth the price tag? Nah, but neither are most things I do for enjoyment.

You’re an actuary and successful. You can spend $100 on headbands without any justification at all other than they make you happy. You are happy now, right?

Bought a Bose Sound Bar for new TV with shitty speakers. Sounds pretty good now. Wife is inviting people over for Super Bowl, needed better sound, I checked it with the SEA game I hadn’t rewatched. Very nice. Not like the 6 speakers in the other room, but good enough. Can also use it to Bluetooth in sound from phone or wherever.

Hey, would the electronics stores have deals on TVs right about now???

Yes. But who doesn’t have a recently-made TV?
I’ll be in “the wilderness” on Sunday. Not sure what we’ll be watching Super Bowl on.

Asking for a friend. Daddy has a $250 BestBuy gift card burnin’ a hole in his pocket!

I saw an 85" tv at Costco the other day for about $500.

Well, thanks! I wore it to the gym this morning. I think that’s the last time. Sure, it kept some of the sweat out of my eyes, but I think it also concentrated the fluids so that when I bent over to change weights on the barbell, a whole bunch dripped right off my forehead, more than expected. Future use is just going to be keeping my head warm at home.

You sound much sweatier than me! My sweat gets all up in my hairline and this headband does a good job of wicking it away so I can go back to work after exercising without having damp and then frizzy hair.

At least it’s a very cute headband, that’s priority number one.

And I look FABULOUS in it!!!

Hoping NOT to buy a new refreshment refrigerator (mainly for my beers).
Unplugged it and set it outside (another 80+F day), as a giant iceberg had grown in the back of it. might take another day to melt it.

Good luck, my beer fridge does the same thing!
