Hard disagree. Trump seems like he could keel over at any moment. How can you tell anything about him under all that makeup anyway? Biden walks a bit slow, but he seems really fit for his age.

If you know nothing about either and were given a video of both, would you guess ages 4 years apart?
That’s kind of my point. If you watch unedited video of each of them I think you come away with the sense that Biden is a totally sane and healthy old man, and Trump is a not-quite-as-old man yelling at clouds. I think we are agreeing here.

I agree Biden looks frail/stiff. Not sure about the part where Biden is looking so much older than Trump. He’s looking pretty rough.
Don’t kid yourself. Biden has been well known for saying stupid shit for 40+ years. The man has been a gaffe machine his entire life. It has gotten MUCH worse. Look at tapes of him as VP and now. He reminds me of my grandfather after he started having TIAs. Someone who used to be very sharp and just isn’t all there anymore.
Eh, A quarter of the USA doesn’t take everything he says as Gospel.

It is just very sad that the discussion here, and rightly so, is not about the relative merits of either Trump or Biden but rather about which one is worse. Says it all.

Oddly I don’t have a lot negative about Joe Biden. I think he’s been a good president, has appointed competent people to run agencies and his judicial appointments have been light years better than Trump’s. My only real complaint about Joe is he’s fucking old and has about a 25% chance dying before his term is up and folks in their 80s tend to start suffering dementia at a much higher rate than folks say 30 years their junior.
Now if we’re taking about Hunter, the basis of this thread, he doesn’t seem like someone I’d vote for and I’m happy Joe hasn’t put him in his government in any capacity.

I believe the Constitution has a solution for this “problem.” And since both of these candidates have this issue (the slightly younger one being morbidly obese), being concerned about the VP choice is valid. So, we have reasonable but very woman Harris, and a crazy MAGA ND governor.
I think the bigger concern is that the President becomes mentally incompetent for the job and needs to be removed via the 25th or by resignation, and can see that happening with Biden but not with Trump.
Well that’s a pretty major complaint.
I agree this thread is about Hunter but the last 10 or so posts deviated to which candidate is worse. It sounds very much like the discussion happening in many other countries rather than on the merits of the candidates. Where are all the good candidates?
I wonder if the Cabinet under one presidential candidate will be more deliberate when analyzing the 25th than the other’s. Hmmm…
