I thought the big thing about Hunter’s Laptop was it pointed to potential tax fraud, but I just recently learned that claim was investigated and found to be meritless. What else is purported to be on it anyway?

I’m totally lost re the laptop. Can anyone give a summary of the laptop story?
So, I’m biased but here goes.
Somebody dropped a laptop off to a computer repair shop on the east coast, which is run by a visually-impaired man. The laptop allegedly belonged to Hunter Biden. Based on some reporting the man saw Hunter drop it off himself, and later he didn’t know. However it does seem to be his. The laptop was given to Rudy Giuliani, who alleges to have given the complete and accurate data to the New York Post who reports on it based on Giuliani. The chain of custody from here is confusing to me, but eventually it ends up in the possession of the FBI. Sometime between the laptop being relinquished and going to the FBI, it is accessed multiple times by unknown numbers of people and files named things like “Burisma docs” and “Salactious Pics Package” were added to it.
The FBI investigated leads on tax evasion. Eventually, Hunter Biden pled guilty to 2 misdemeanors for 2 counts of tax evasion and one of illegal possession of a firearm. (I admit here, I thought he was exonerated, I was mistaken.) Dick pics and videos were on it, leading MTG to display dick pics on the floor of Congress.
At this point it seems irrelevant but must be testing well with the Fox News/OANN/Newsmax crowd, so it keeps getting air time.
I gotta say, there aren’t a lot of images i am less interested in seeing than dick pics of Hunter Biden. (There are lots of images i am equally uninterested in seeing.)
Good God, dick pics on a private laptop aren’t illegal, or uncommon, or … let’s just say that if that’s the worst the Republicans can find on him, there must not be much that can be found.
I don’t get the interest because Hunter hasn’t been all over the White House like the Trump kids were. Even Trump’s SIL got a piece of the action.
Hunter Biden left his laptop in a Pawn shop so he could buy drug, on that laptop was how Hunter killed JFK.

Obviously what Republicans think is that the country is doing just fine because they have control of the House Of Representatives and this is what they are spending their time on. That means there isn’t anything more pressing to figure out. This is what I would be screaming on the campaign trail if I was a Dem.
