Having all your bacon done at the same time

How many strips of bacon are you cooking? The oven is good for lots at once, imo.

But then, i don’t worry about having it all done at once, either. I just take each piece off as it is done.

I do the candied bacon thing occasionally. I like it even better with a little cayenne and black pepper mixed in with the brown sugar.

Bacon does not need embellishment, IMO

yup, chopsticks for the win. also good for sausage which easily rolls off your spatula. plus u can beat your eggs with em after so no need for another utensil that u have to clean after

Follow up question, I was using chopsticks the other day to flip my bacon and then wondered, what do white people use to flip their bacon? Surely their hands can’t withstand the heat.

OMG, best cooking tip I ever got was from watching my half-Korean then-boyfriend’s mom cook bacon using chopsticks. It’s just so brilliant. I have no recollection of how I did this before we dated (which was more than 20 years ago) except that it was a problem and did not work NEARLY as well as chopsticks.

So this white girl uses chopsticks to turn bacon!

I mean, ok, 80% of the time I cook pre-cooked bacon in the microwave. But if I’m buying raw bacon and cooking it on the stove then I 100% use chopsticks.
