Technically I think it’s sedition rather than treason
Reading about Hannity and Ingraham and Jr., I’ve got to say, I’m kind of glad that they were secretly worried about the insurrection. It’s better than the alternative.
Mmm, I probably would prefer that they’re stupid true believers versus intelligent and malevolent media figureheads.
Ah, fair. Yeah so this is sedition, yes?
It turns out it’s apparently not illegal to ignore the rape of a bunch of boys and it’s not illegal to try to assist in the takeover of the country through a loophole.
It’s also apparently not illegal to support someone who ignores rapes and assists in an attempt to take over the country as long as that person belongs to your party.
But “lock her up”, amirite?
I guess I should say [/red]
The behavior of a number individuals on January 6th sure seems like sedition to me. So far prosecutors have focused more on the easier items to convict on: assault, destruction of property,…There is debate on whether they should pursue sedition charges
since you brought it up, it’s ok to ignore meadows and others using personal phones and emails for govt communication
I just got it again…this time from 612-474-5855
I think I’ll try the Snikelfritz approach this time.
I’ll keep you posted if anything amusing comes out of it.
“That was anger over a rigged election that got that many people to go to DC. A tiny percentage and I mean tiny, like less than 1% went to the Capitol,” Trump said.
Crowd at the Capitol was estimated at 2000-2500 which means even according to his own calculation he was only able to match the size of a 2010 rally sponsored by Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert.
Well he did say “less than” so not really.
There’s a bit of drama now with Cyber Ninjas, the election truther tech firm hired to conduct the partisan audit of ballots in AZ. Since their audit was performed on behalf of the AZ senate, AZ courts have found that their audit work is subject to open record laws. Cyber Ninjas refused to comply with the open records request, so the judge is fining them $50k/day until they comply. They now say they are insolvent, have no employees, and can’t afford to look for any records. The judge isn’t buying it, and says he’ll impose the fines on individuals involved if needed.
Wisconsin Republicans in search of something at site of the recount.
A great article on 538 about this.
Pretty scary shit. Just means the side of Good and Truth has to fight just as hard against the Evil and Lies.
NPR has been asking Trump for an interview for years and he’s declined. He finally agreed to a 15 minute interview. He started spouting the Big Lie, and when pressed for specific details he abruptly ended the interview at 9 minutes.
I wonder if he talks about anything else with anyone in his life? Like does Ivanka show up with the grandkids and within 5 minutes the conversation is 100% about the election? I don’t think he has done so publicly since the election. I beginning to think he would be unable to effectively run again simply because his ego won’t allow him to move beyond this in any capacity.
Trumpian reasoning: He had larger crowds than Biden at election rallies. Votes cast are proportional to crowds at election rallies, Therefore he must have won the election. i
I’ve heard people say that Trump must have had the most support because you don’t see people driving around with Biden flags.
Yeah - driving around with “politician” flags is not the normal state of affairs…
