When I was a kid, my mother used to make up cute things we supposedly said and would tell other friends/relatives on the phone that we said them. [it’s a bit more complicated than that, but that was the basic core of what was going on]
And then there are those amusing anecdotes in Readers Digest…
just saying it predated “social media” by quite a long time

For whatever reason I don’t recall seeing that one as a kid…I did later in life. My favorites would include Would You Like To Buy An O & None, Some, All feat. Bip Bippadotta & Friends.
