Salty and sweet is a classic combo. The heat and the cold is a fun addition to the mix. I preferred strawberry milkshakes when I got to go out with my grandparents for burgers and fries because strawberry>chocolate for fry dipping. I donāt think Iāve had a strawberry shake in 25 years though.
This stuff is really good on fries (and worth the price tag if you like truffles AND hot sauce), because itās good on everything:

Frosties and fries tastes donut-y to me, my kids like it, too. I canāt get away with eating a frosty anymore but sometimes steal a bite from them.
Thatās what it is though. Outside of tomato paste the rest of the ingredients are the same as pancake syrup.
tomato paste is a huge main ingredient
Kind of the same way that matzo is paper mache without the newspaper
Iāll dip my fries in marinara if there is some on the table. Like when there is an order of mozzarella sticks there, too.
