I ran into a fascinating YouTube series on imaginary numbers. The guy wrote a book about imaginary numbers and is about to come out with a second edition. I’ve always found complex numbers a fascinating topic, so I’ve been enjoying watching these videos.

I have a vague recollection that I’ve stumbled across Simone Giertz before…but one of her videos just popped up via the algorithm & now I’m hooked.

I binged her channel a while back, enjoying all the old stupid inventions. But then near the end of the binge I hit her “I’ve got brain cancer” video. It was like a punch in the stomach, even though I knew she had to have survived surgery, as that video was not recent.
