i haven’t gotten these chicks. i keep on getting ads for a chair i bought long ago at this point, and ads for bras for small boobed chicks
which, with this new fb rules on being civil, i guess i can’t call those chicks morons who feel the need to announce how they just don’t understand “why does small boob bra company keep advertising to meeeee when i’m a 38DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!! ” they always have that dumb laugh cry smiley or some such with it. i tell them they are stupid and they are getting these ads because they insist on commenting on these ads thinking they are oh so witty.
I’m not sure I’m allowed to call stupid chicks stupid anymore. this sucks
in her meme group, she and other libs are complaining how the fb police are putting them in fb jail and how fb is targeting libs because they are pissed that trump lost the election. meanwhile the right are complaining about the opposite. both sides complaining that they are unfairly being targeted for being right or left
and they are posting how you can get around the censors and insult someone with stoopid rather than stupid.
this chick who reported me got put in fb jail for 30 days recently and is learning how to insult without having consequences.
i reported her. apparently hers didn’t violate community guidelines. i suspect they look for key words and don’t actually read them with too many people reporting posts.
i also reported her post after she reported mine. not sure if that matters. i tend to not report posts unless they are flat out racist or anti-semitic or something. i think she knows how to work the censors having gotten jailed before.
If no one reported her post it’s possible that no one looked at it.
I mean, on AO we generally tried to get to the source of the argument and read the escalation. But we got a lot fewer reports than Facebook, and were more likely to be an active poster in the thread anyway. I’m sure that, too, differs materially from Facebook.
So my guess is that they didn’t even look at her insult because it wasn’t reported
I don’t think it’s like a forum. They probably go through thousands of reports a day, search for key words, don’t look for context at all, and make a fast decision.
Do you use the app on your phone? I would advise people to not have the app downloaded on their phone and instead go to the website via their browser. That limits Facebooks access to your phone. And I would say of course they are filming and recording. No one is watching it but their AI applications but they are definitely doing it.
Modern phones give you control over what permissions apps have. I gave Facebook permission to use my camera when the app is open, and i denied it permission to use the microphone. There’s no way it’s secretly recording me when the app is closed. (Which is most of the time.)
I don’t like Facebook, but that’s taking paranoia a bit far.
Google might well be breaking it’s own rules to spy on me. But Google and Facebook are rivals. If Google says it won’t give access to Facebook, the odds are pretty decent that it’s not giving access to Facebook. This is not a question of whether Facebook is “following the rules” but whether Facebook has successfully hacked the operating system that Google maintains. I’m guessing not. If that was found out it would be a major legal problem for Facebook.
