Anyone else ask if the d-o-g has been f-e-d’d? I don’t know why we ask this, because our dog generally doesn’t eat unless we’re eating, so it’s really unlikely he’s going to overeat by having a second helping of breakfast or dinner.
Maybe should have been a crosspost to random thoughts.
We can tell by the canned dog food level if she’s been fed or not.
Today someone brought 4 Frenchie puppies to the dog park. They were climbing all over me, and very sweet and snuggly. One in particular kept begging me to pick him up for cuddles. Made my day.

My dog has been people food curious, but she doesn’t get any other than if something happens to fall on the floor. She also hadn’t ever taken anything by counter surfing until today. There was brisket on the counter for a good while today, which she didn’t touch. However I left some Cuban bread on the cutting board as I was going to make some Cuban sammiches in a bit. She took a big hunk of Cuban bread, probably 6" long, and hoovered the whole thing. WTF. I didn’t think that would be in her wheelhouse. Now I need to be more careful.

yeah ours won’t counter surf if anyone is around. But if we leave and don’t kennel her, anything on the counter is fair game.
The crazy thing is that the brisket was on the counter for probably an hour without anyone there. The Cuban bread got nabbed after 10 minutes unsupervised

Today the pooch was running around with a raw potato!
My neighbour got some beer delivered. His lab had to check out the delivery guy and when she saw us next door, she had to run over for a greeting!!! 
I left some butter and eggs on the counter to room-temp and they weren’t there when I checked on them an hour later. Thought the dog had gotten them, but they were just moved. Thought of this thread.
Carving up a ham, the doggo has been standing beside me very faithfully for 15 minutes. There is a nontrivial amount of drool on the floor, lol. Yes, I’ve given her numerous pieces of ham.

My nephew and his gf stopped by with their dog. We spoiled doggo with salmon and cheese.

Later in the evening, my neighbour stopped by with his lab. We gave her some treatos because she is a good doggo!!!

I have the spoiled COVID pup. She hasn’t had many visitors at the house in her life, so when she gets them like tonight she goes berserk. I don’t know how to train her without having more opportunities with visitors in the house.
She gets to see lots of her fan club tomorrow, so she’ll go nuts again.
