Doggo got some presents!
My doggo got a celebratory frozen dessert
@Echo: Hold out for chikkin, turkey jerky, salmon and cheese!!!
Christmas swimming:
She had some bacon and steak today.
I’m taking a short beach vacation next week and bringing the pooch along
Like a #2 bacon, or mebbe a 5+???
@Echo: Did Daddy slice the steak nice and thin and serve it with a nice sauce, like a Béarnaise or a 4 peppercorn or a nice compound butter at the very least???
My nephew’s dog managed to get on the counter and swipe a piece of Christmas turkey while we were in the dining room.
So no pepul fud for good dogs? So confused. Perhaps it is food induced nap.
You know you are the bestest, super duperest doggo, but you doggos no go on the counter!!!
My nephew and his gf got this doggo from a not-so-good environment, so she has some issues. She’s come a long way, but still issues.
My dog was a stray so I have no idea what her previous life was like. I think she must have been cared for at some point (housebroken, knew a couple of commands, knows not to get on the master bed, takes treats gently), but she was underweight when I got her, so it’s not hard to imagine why she can be protective.
Who’s a gud Daddy??? Are you a gud Daddy??? Of course you are!!!
My dog was afraid of the surf at first, but she got over it relatively quickly. She had a blast, and we did too. It was a great time to bring her, as the weather was perfect and we didn’t want to eat indoors at restaurants anyway right now due to COVID.
Went out to the backyard to play with her but she wanted to play keep away more than fetch.
one of our doggos (9yo, been with us 2.5 yrs as a rescue) has started eating very slowly and has declined to drink water. for like a week. still in decent spirits. will let you touch/pet/handle him however. a bit less active (he slows down in winter anyway).
vet can’t find anything. teeth were checked in november without incident. he does not have the terrible breath that an infection might bring. we switched to canned food, and are adding in water at each meal (3 meals a day - still less water than we think he was drinking in normal times).
they are ramping up a revisit for mouth check (was booked for 2 months out, but they want it sooner) and will keep an eye on him. we need him healthy and vibrant.
@Echo: Awwwwww, who’s a kyooooooot doggo??? Are you a kyooooooooot doggo??? Of course you are!!! Go get yourself a treato from the laundry room!!!
I am a pretty dog.
