So it would be helpful to give a source, or more context. Because recognizing someone as an effective leader doesn’t mean you condone all their actions or even their intentions. Whether I think this is a darnedest thing depends a lot on what you omitted. Otherwise it can simply be selective editing tailored for a misleading purpose.

Hasan Piker is a “tankie” and disliked by every leftist I follow on bluesky. It is likely even in context that he is pro the Chinese communist rebellion. Calling him an AOC “twin” is pretty lol-tastic, partly because she is much smarter, partly because she has moderated on many of her views to get things done, but he does have some traction with younger people. There has been a clear move in the mainstream media to use Piker to discredit the far left in general b/c Piker is a douche with many terrible beliefs and is an easy target.

Is he a self-anointed twin, or labeled such by folks who want to invalidate AOC?
Tankie is a derogatory term invented in the UK and used by people on the left for people who are virtually off the spectrum left. Tankies are fiercely anti-West, will support anyone who criticizes the US or UK, and will non-ironically defend the Soviets and Mao.
I don’t know if the twin label is one that he uses to get attention or by people who want to invalidate AOC and the social democrats. (While we are discussing terms, social democrats and democratic socialists are very different, social democrats are pro-capitalism, but with reform, democratic socialists want to throw everything out. Yes, the left sucks with naming things.)
What about democratic democrats and social socialists?

I of course feel that fraud is extremely rare, and that the voters trounced him.
However, the analysis of this post is seriously flawed, because one of the claims about election fraud is vote counting, and I don’t think that’s a party function. Also, fraud, hypothetically, could include people who were not registered Republicans voting in the Repulican primary.
Could say many of the same things about January 6.

Always interesting when you see white people say to minorities that discriminatory things aren’t discriminating against them. Because the white guy gets to decide that.
Or along similar, men telling women that something isn’t sexist, because men don’t feel it is.
