Meh. Congressional and Presidential medals are basically just partisan participation trophies anymore. So it’s always a darndest thing imo. :man_shrugging: What’s not clear to me is when it started being that way.

But yeah, Biden has no Fs to G. For worse or much worse, he really is burning it all down on his way out.

Which Congressional medals are you referring to? If it’s the Medal of Honor, strong disagree.

The Presidential medal of Freedom has indeed become a joke. It’s always been at the discretion of the President with no other qualifications. There are plenty of targets for underserving nominees other than partisanship, but it’s hard to find a worst example than Nunes.
