After Trump’s announcement on autism and acetaminophen, Canadian health organizations issued a joint statement on health misinformation.
Medcram, who I got to trust pretty well because they put out must-see medical videos during the covid times, put out a video of a plausible connection between tylenol and autism. To sum up, though, 1) this is a possible connection and should be looked into and 2) in any case you should get more sunlight (or at least more near-IR light - you don’t have to “sun tan”, as IR passes through clothes just fine), especially in early pregnancy.

Americans also benefit from pre-clearance as they skip US immigration on their return to the US. In any event, the reason pre-clearance use is down is because of Trump’s actions towards Canadians.

Nobody cares. Its the postal service, nobody even uses that anymore.
Theyre striking because theyre replacing door to door delivery, with community mailboxes. The idea of door to door mail delivery in 2025 is absurd to start with, and when theyre bleeding money, the community boxes seem reasonable.
Canada post is basically just junk mail delivery anyway.

UK has similar legacy sectors that refuse to change even in the face of large losses.
Usually, the unions will fight any change which makes modernising things very difficult.
We appreciate the foreign workers who keep Canada’s farms running. No ICE hounding them.
I wish more American journalists would speak out like this on the Trump Administration’s assaults on Canada (and his own country) with his tariffs.
There was an old guy with a Trump 2024 hat at the farmers market today.

Didn’t read the story, I’m skeptical about the innocent bystanders part, too. My thought during most stories like this are “Then you shouldn’t have voted for him, dumb*ss”
