yep. they’re not innocent bystanders, they’re American businesses trying to sell to Canada.
The Canadian flags on the Americans backpacks look newer than on the Canadians backpacks.
Have them sing the national anthem. All Americans know exactly two words of it.

I like that we have gotten under his skin. The Trump Administration has been doing everything possible to crash the Canadian economy but they expect Canada to politely accept that? Gimme a break, eh?
Hoekstra has always been a bit of a dumbass.
He is a perfect example of why I am 100% against having political appointments as Ambassadors
You need professional diplomats in these posts, not some random idiot who ingratiated himself with the latest President.
Posted this before I think, but this is one of my all time favourites.
Have to love the Dutch with their directness.
Perhaps this little ditty by South Park’s favourite Canadians would be an appropriate response in this circumstance: https://youtu.be/ujv3LYVfj8o?t=52 (Caution: Very NSFW for language; song starts 52-53 seconds into the video, if the link doesn’t automagically take you there.)

our version of the Republicans are headed by a nasty piece of work who governs by anger and hate. in fairness, at one point I thought he was reasonable, but that didn’t last long.
there’s enough folks in the party who are. mainstream that it seems to be causing cracks. one crossed the floor from right to left. a second just quit the right entirely. there rumours there’s another three or four on the edge. and rumours the leaders on the right are threatening and actually yelling at their troops.
as you can imagine, one crossing is a big deal.two deserters and rumours of more, the party is in turmoil.
and, the rights leader is up for party election next month. if they have any sense at all they will throw this guy to the curb and bring in someone more centrist.
