You are talking to a guy who claimed that most presidential elections in US history have been people picking from choices they dislike, with no evidence to back that up at all.
Not at all.
If I blog about how exercise increases the risk of injury, who is my target audience?
Who’s the target audience if you’re blogging? ![]()
Your mom?
This.
And I remain uninterested in whether heads of state have pulled muscles, or trip, or have any number of inconsequential physical conditions.

I saw another take on Biden’s fall, that it’s not due to age or physical or mental decline but instead due to his wearing a (or 2? completely unnecessary, in this case) face mask, which blocks one’s lower field of vision, making falls more likely.
Mark Changizi has been trying to warn of this risk for months: https://www.getrevue.co/profile/markchangizi/issues/biden-falls-because-of-his-face-mask-475660
And no one is paying attention because he’s wrong. There may be some facemasks that stick out far enough to interfere with your peripheral vision. But the one Biden wears in public looks a lot like the one I wear when I walk around the neighborhood. I can barely see it in the edge of my vision if I squint and scrunch up my face. It surely doesn’t interfere with my view of the ground, or of anything else except the tip of my nose.
I take falls (and increasing the risk thereof) pretty seriously. I advised my mom to stop taking a blood pressure medication that increased her risk of fainting. (Her doctor found one that worked better.) And after she DID fall and break her pelvis recently, I’ve done all sorts of stuff around her apartment to make it safer.
I also make her wear a mask when I visit.
press conference today.
Im rooting for more boring Biden. He has a nice way of making non-issues… not an issue?
throw some more cold water on that hot mess.

I keep forgetting how your experience is universal. Next time I’ll just ask you what things are like for everyone instead of listening to the PhD neurobiologist & vision expert who literally published a book on human vision in 2009.
People still spouting “people are dying WITH, not BY COVID” these days lose credibility with me immediately.
Kind of half-listening to Biden’s press conference right now while working. From what I can tell he’s doing a pretty good job with it. Maybe a few very minor gaffes but overall seems to be in command of the issues & nothing really to be concerned about in terms of the cognitive concerns people were bringing up.
Certainly a bit better than the previous guy (tbh I couldn’t stand listening to Trump speak, so Biden would have to be terrible to be worse), but probably slightly worse than the guy before that, but who isn’t?
He seems fine.
Does he have a card of who to call on next? I don’t recall ever seeing that before.
my complaint about Biden is he does not speak like some one that is entrenched in the decision making process on issues.
the pros: delivers a mostly calming message. not telling people to kill his political rivals. Not being openly racist. not letting a non-issue become and issue.
I can handle this for a few years.
I heard about 20 minutes of it. He sounded fine. On top of the issues, calm, trying to find common ground with ordinary citizens. Some of the questions were dumb, like trying to pin him down on exactly how likely he is to run again.
That one was especially stupid and elicited a “C’mon man!” even from me. The guy has been in office for barely over 60 days, there are plenty of current issues you can ask him about & you’re already looking ahead to the next race? C’mon man!
Yeah, we have plenty of actual issues to ask him about. Everything from North Korea to who is showing up at our border, from unemployment to taxation, and hey, what about that covid? I’m hoping not to think about the next presidential election for at least another year or two.
how long until he admits he wont run in 2024?
Its a trap question for him… to admit he wont run in 2024 is admitting he is too old, but that is really just saying he is already too old.
Id say Jan 2024 is a good time for that issue to be seriously addressed. Not Jan of 2021.

The Fox News spin after the PC was predictable. Peter Doocy had a binder full of questions ready for Biden and got snubbed. So to Fox the whole thing was terrible and embarrassing for everyone involved.
Maybe they shouldn’t be Fake News.
I watched the first bit of Tucker last night to see the fox spin.
‘who is jim eagle?’ and ‘look he is reading off a script!’ was the best they had. I couldnt take it anymore when the first guest came in and started to mock biden with a cringy impersonation.
pretty good presser if your worst enemy cant spin it into propaganda.
my guess is after the 2022 election cycle the race for Dem 2024 candidate will start to heat up.
