They were awesome during the acute phase of the pandemic.
Soooo, 2 bags, 1 sandwich??? Is that about right???
Three if you count the sandwich bag.
I didn’t buy a drink so I didn’t get a cup.
My mole removal site is a bit itchy, 5 days out.
A transformer blew, no power for at least several hours.
i have 186 messages in my gmail inbox. ugh. i try to keep it <50 (one page), but the last couple of weeks it’s gotten away from me. I just need to sit down for three hours some afternoon and burn through a bunch, but I don’t want to do that.
Flying Rio to London via Lisbon.
Then Q3 meetings all afternoon.
This is going to be fun.
My wife does this as well.
TAP cancelled flight back to London from Lisbon.
Caught a ride on the last flight out back to London but that is now delayed.
Going to be getting home at about midnight assuming they dont cancel this last flight as well.
Arrggh.
Got Wendy’s for lunch today. I happened to be out and about.
My hamburger is literally just a patty and bread. Nothing else. I didn’t order it that way.
Not worth going back, either. I’m rarely in that part of town and it’s way too much driving to bother.
Flying is for suckers.

was away from the desk for a whole week. 3 days conference. 2 days camping. i feel behind!
I wish I was in Lisbon proper.
I am in the TAP Premium Lounge (not horrible as you have unlimited time) in the Schengen area which is ok.
I remember the airport at Lisbon had really good fish spread (perhaps cod?) in tins. Next time I’m going to buy much more of it.
They do have a decent tax free area.
Got a few wines and chocolates + nata tarts.
On the flip side, I just realised I am now entitled to about €400 for them messing up my flight due to EU Flight Compensation rules.
Yay free money ![]()
EU 261 is no joke, I’ve been compensated twice. The last time I paid $550 ea for tickets to London and British Air had to pay me 700 euros for the delay, so they wound up paying me for the privilege of flying my family to London and back.
