I understand and appreciate that healthcare providers need to follow all the hungry hungry hippo laws, but leaving me a vm telling me to call you back, having to navigate your stupid phone tree, only to have you tell me that it will be 2-4 weeks before you’ve got what I need and that you’ll call me back then, well, you could’ve just let me know that in the first place.

in the last month she was told her psychologist and her derm are each leaving their respective practices. the psych should be easy - we can get plenty of folks to renew the speed pills when needed. but a pain all the same.
the derm transition might actually kill her. (Old derm retiring from practice for 2 years of research before full retirement) even thinking about this brings her to a level of stress that sucks

My bank just sent me an email about their Senior Support Centre with tools to keep me safe from fraud.
I’m on 2 discord servers, call them A and B, which have a fair bit of potential overlap. Server A is filled with annoying people, so many of the less annoying people have migrated to server B and I don’t really read messages on A anymore. One of the more irritating people from A has just found server B.
They replied: no updates. They are now saying repairs can take “up to 45 business days” rather than their prior comment of 30-45 days, but they obviously can’t count as it’s already been over 45 business days.
My guess is that they will do the same thing as last time: once the work order is aged enough, they will do nothing but mark it complete saying the work was done. Lather, rinse, repeat.
I could not remove items from my Costco cart on the app. I could add items and/or check out, but I could not adjust the quantity or remove altogether.
Fortunately going on their website from a computer worked, but sheesh.

Got 3 spam texts offering work from home jobs already today, including 2 within a few minutes of each other. All different numbers. I block and report as spam every time I get one, but it’s like whack a mole lately.
I’ve noticed more calls to my house phone in the last few days. Darned scammers!!!
The HVAC broke for a while in the robotics lab. So much rust.
I weigh 1.9 pounds more today than I did Wednesday, and I know it’s not real but I am still very annoyed.
