Next time we are at the same conference!
Hey, I wanna get in on that! I’ll be at Valuation Actuary in Denver in August.
These are all stupid variants, and should be outlawed.
As long as I get my Free Parking money, I’m OK with anything
I bought some super green bananas on the weekend. They were still greeeeeeeen yesterday. Even after a day in a plastic bag with 2 (AT THE SAME TIME!!!) Granny Smith apples, they are still green. ![]()
Just throw some raisins into a bag with the bananas.

I have … sigh… a new sourdough starter going. 2 days in and it has many little bubbles: gonna feed it tonight and tomorrow, then bake some bread.
Yo, Bee Gee! I went to a barber shop down the road from me. Cut was OK, got a hot towel around my scalp and a quick shoulder massage with one of those hand buzzers. Still gonna stick with my regular stylist tho. ![]()
Prolly half the price.
If they re-open the bikini haircut place near here, I may think about going back to a ‘stylist’
Nope, cost me more.

My haircuts are free. My wife does it. She used to have her cosmetology license. She started cutting my hair when COVID hit. I keep it short, parted to the side. So I just pretty much get a trim every few weeks.
Saves me $25 (+tip) each month
You don’t give your wife the tip? Sad.
Hopefully, not just the tip
I’ve been to a barber twice now in the past couple of months. First two times since covid when I started using a trimmer at home.
Last cut, the top was a bit long, both my spouse and my BIL commented on it. I guess good news, I still have a thick head of hair at my age? In any event, the last two mornings I’ve had to use a brush, I haven’t had to use a brush in, i dunno, decades? I don’t have any interest in daily grooming of my hair beyond wash and dry.

CHEEKY “YOU DON’T WANNA LOSE THIS DEAL!!!” TOTALLY GOES HEEEEEEEEERE!!!

Two days later and the bananas are still green and crunchy. I tried eating one: it was a pig to peel and it tasted like cucumber.

I had a bunch like that a few months ago. They stayed green and hard as a rock for like three weeks. It was weird.
