So the OEM lights were halogen and they were absolutely terrible, I felt unsafe driving with those. I had replaced them with some LED bulbs that were decent. One failed recently and what I thought I ordered was another set of those. Anyway.
The biggest issue with blinding oncoming traffic is the ‘flare.’ Cheap bulbs throw light everywhere, nicer bulbs maintain the proper flare so the light is aimed slightly down. I expect these to be comparable to the HID that are on my wife’s van, which are OEM and the same 35w.
If your local Dunkin’ runs out of peppermint mocha flavor way earlier than normal, it might be because I’m pretty sure I got about half the company’s supply in my coffee this morning.
Calling my wife’s PCP office to set up an appointment.
I’m on hold…which isn’t a surprise.
However, the automated voice saying “your estimated hold time is…12…minutes…and…thirty-nine…seconds” suggests that someone needs a lesson in false precision.
I’m up to about eight hours on the headlight project. I’ve triple checked everything, I’m out of ideas except maybe I got the wrong harness, I emailed the manufacturer.
I made sure my power and ground connections were good, I was warned about polarity and tested that. Multimeter says everything is right. I’m pretty handy and there aren’t that many pieces here.
How much time are they going to waste for $60 or whatever?
Reminds me, my last company sent me to a conference. The hotel was $4 over the limit but since it was mandatory to stay there, they told me to fill out a waiver form. Long story short things got sideways and I used about eight hours of company time trying to get my $4.
I finally tracked my headlight problem down, an OEM plug didn’t quite work well with my new hardware. I could plug a bulb into it just fine. Replaced the plug and good to go.
that why I always drive there and order from the counter inside. It’s easier to check the contents and let them know when it’s wrong. I don’t even order from the screens at McDonald’s. I just go right to the counter.
But all the best deals are in the apps, it seems. McD’s seems to have a perpetual deal for 20% off any order over like $8 in the app. You don’t want to lose this deal!
I actually think you may be less likely to have an incorrect order when using the app since you enter the order yourself and check it vs having something get lost in translation or whatever.
I blew the diet for an Oberweiss fudge brownie sundae, which is slightly over a day’s worth of calories. It was so overstuffed that it was literally squirting out all the sides of the container. When I finally carefully worked my way down toward the bottom - no brownie.
