it was a joke and i haven’t fallen at my office.
As was my response, but I added a winky face to make that clearer.
You get rid of the cat.
Or… you immediately adopt it!
If by “adopt” you mean “leave on the side of the road” you are correct.
Now is this a work cat or a personal cat??? This will affect his WC claim.
Or you could sue the owner for millions…
I was still fostering him at the time, so a work cat indeed.
He certainly has a “yeah…that’s right…” smirk on his face.
i get asked all the time about possible subrogation for WC or other accident insurance for ER trips w the kids. sports injuries or whatever.
I’d have gotten the care and then dealt w paperwork later if needed. sending a perso home without care is not a good practice when there is at least one if not two payers
So at the time I fell I honestly didn’t think I was hurt in a “needs medical attention” way. In retrospect maybe I should have just gone to the ER that night. Instead I am in this never ending cycle of receiving one thing, responding as quickly as I can, and then waiting for hours. I emailed her boss later who said, “you will get this form in a few minutes,” and the gal still took an hour. I have told her I need to go in today. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon with my pulmonologist. It will be a month before I can get back in if I have to reschedule, not to mention a new deductible for an expensive dr.
She just responded, “we have a dr who can see you. Would you like an authorization form?” Like I haven’t been begging for that all day.
I just canceled my therapy visit for this afternoon assuming she was going to just send me that dang form. Why was I expecting different results?
Finally got x-rays. No fracture. Could be sprain, could be torn ligaments. 4-6 weeks to heal.
lately when i have opened a can of diet cola, it more or less splashes out the top every time. have they secretly made the can 0.5% smaller and this is how I find out?
So I talked to someone from the WC insurance today and my injury is most likely NOT eligible for WC. I sure hope the dr they made me see is in network for my Company provided insurance! I’ve met my in network deductible but there is a separate deductible for out of network.
While I hope this doesn’t happen again, this is my lesson: next time just go to my in network ER and figure out payment afterwards. It would have been reasonable for me to go Tuesday night.
There was no chicken in the little room with the delicious lidded fountain. Just a drunk guy behind a curtain that I wish I could pay no attention to.
She’s never drank from the toilet. It’s a lid closed house. Treats are for after bathing.
I’ve been trying to talk myself out of bed for almost an hour.
you can do it! I believe in you.
By “it”, you mean “stay in bed all day”, right?
