Normally I wait until I’m miserable before I start taking allergy meds but because of overlap in allergy and covid symptoms, I decided to start taking them now.

I was annoyed by useless replies regarding an Uber Eats gift card, so now my goal is to annoy them.
I only get allergies in autumn, but I took the same approach last year.
Was trying not to lose my windshield to a “Not responsible for your windshield” truck on the interstate, and of course there was a semi in the middle lane. I busted it to 80 MPH in the left lane, and apparently that was too slow for the asshole behind me. If I would have even breathed on the brakes we all would have died - and I wanted to put on the brakes because 80 MPH beside a semi is scary - even in a fast car.
I DO NOT WANT TO RACE JUST BECAUSE MY CAR IS BRIGHT BLUE OR WHATEVER. If I would have picked grey, everyone would have thought I was a secret cop and nobody would have gone up my ass at 80 MPH.
But grey is BORING.

I ordered Hello Fresh with one of those “17 free meals” codes. The food was good but it took forever to make dinner. These were for the regular meals, supposed to take 30-40 minutes. They routinely took me an hour. I guess I am slow or those Cutco knives I bought aren’t that good.
It took me some digging but I finally figured out to cancel. I did not get my 17 free meals bc they were spread over some # of weeks.

We decided to try the breakfast place everyone raves about. They don’t take reservations. We’ve been here for an hour and a half and I just got coffee. Next time I’m just going to Perkins. No breakfast is worth wasting 2+ hours of my Saturday for.

i actaully love breakfast. but the baseline is really solid enough. Perkins has more than just the Tremendous 12! It’s a great meal. Far less than 2 hrs waiting. (one caveat- unless the place has really good bloodies, in which case…i might wait and keep drinking.)

I went to Perkins recently. For like $10 they brought me eggs, bacon, toast, a biscuit and gravy, maybe hash browns. I forget, it was a ridiculous spread and it was all tasty. And it didn’t take two hours.
Agree on the bloody Mary action though. Perkins doesn’t have that.
Man, I love a good Bloody Mary. And it makes for an excellent mocktail, too. I often just get the mix on flights and buy the same mix in stores (and have had some excellent hipster artisan Bloody Mary mixes at restaurants with great garnishes, too).
