Don’t Apaches have a pilot and a gunner? Not 2 pilots? And aren’t they are in line not side by side? So taking someone up in one would really be having them ride shotgun.

There is a co-pilot/gunner for that aircraft. While they do sit “front/back”, both positions have a clear “pilot’s view” of their airspace–which IMO, qualifies it as being “shot-gun”.
Especially when you compare it to other helicopters that are designed to carry troops where there is a definitive “back-seat” view if you’re not in a pilot’s seat.
Maybe to raise money for more bunker busters they should let prom kids rent Apaches to make a memorable entrance. (And to take care of Mr./Ms. Steal-Yo’-Date.)

They have always wanted to cancel OPT so they are using the exagerrated claims as a pretext.
OPT can only really be done once per educational level, so if you graduate with a Bachelors you can apply for about 17 months or so of OPT. They do have checks for the program, but like most things you will probably find some fraud.

Seems like there is probably some legitimacy to it - but they’re not being very upfront that this represents just about ~0.3% of the total of F-1 foreign students.
The way they’re calling this the “tip of the iceberg” and an “uncontrolled pipeline” is rather extreme. There’s probably a little more.
Also, some number of those “fraud” cases were in a way fraud, but due to students being tricked… not students perpetrating fraud.
As always, worth taking the Trump admin with a grain of salt. Wait until somebody is actually sentenced, since DOJ allegations often fall apart lately.
