Well, this doesnât surprise me as the guy was as slimey and unqualified as they come.
This is pretty pathetic.
The way Trump is selling political real estate if you donât get in early you wonât get to shape policy and regulations. Project 2025 focuses a lot on govt but leaves a lot about business untouched. Imagine if Musk gets to shape regulation and policies around social media and AI as part of his pet projects and you donât have someone in the room. It will be a mess for Meta.

France can still refuse the appointment even if the Senate confirms him.
But I suspect Trump will threaten them with tariffs (mostly over their food exports) in order to get them to agree to it.
Probably needs to be rejected in the US to be meaningful. France rejecting a diplomatic nominee would be a minor dust up that Iâm not sure they would risk at the moment.
