I never would have thought…
…and Tesla stock goes up even more.
So do auto body shops’ …
And hospitals’…
Here to remind everyone what to do in the “broligarchy.” Awesome name, should be said with the bigliest amount of derision one can muster.
Bump…
Tomorrow, I will be at an event with thr proper permit.
Bros with their big trucks and little dicks and limp dick President flags are planning some kind of Bro Parade, starting in the same parking lot.
Hoping everything goes off peacefully.
Wondering if this has happened ever in our country’s history, some false idol generating so much hype that people will waste a whole weekend (another parade in a nearby town on Sunday), even missing fuh-baw games, to be with fellow d-bags.
We had Trump truck parades roll through town a couple of times recently. The first time they met up at the high school parking lot - no permits or permission. Second time they met at the same place but the high school had enough notice that they closed off the parking lot. Then they all met up at a local restaurant. It’s a so-so place with decent, not great, food. But I know for sure I don’t want to eat there now.
Olive garden?
Lol no. Local place called Timbers.
We get OG like once a year. Love the bread sticks and salad. Pasta is meh, but sometimes I’m looking for a large quantity of average food
Update: jackasses met elsewhere.
Thing is that I’m guessing of the group i was with, half voted for t-rump, and half of that, of course, were deplorables.
Bump, because people think they are actually allowed to do this:
My brother married a woman of Filipino descent. His sons look way more like her. Of course he voted for T-rump, not worried in the slightest that other T-rumpers will take this “mandate” upon his own kids and wife. (Note: he lives with his in-laws, who of course also voted for T-rump, FoxNews or worse on the TV all day.)
ETA: an opinion piece on Daily Kos, noting T-rump’s wishing for violence and subsequent attacks (allegedly) in his name:
Sadly, this may become more commonplace.
I witnessed a verbal attack, on a man who looked to have Indian ancestry, from a guy in a pickup truck with a Trump flag the last time we visited my wife’s sister in South Carolina. What disgusted me most was the guy in the truck had to lean over his young son in the truck cab to shout his hate out the window. I talked to the target afterward but he just shrugged it off as a common occurrence in South Carolina. Probably would have escalated to violence if he had shouted anything back at the Trump supporter.
The Armpit of America.
One of several, sadly.
The state that started the civil war. Sherman was not a fan.

I should have mentioned that I at first thought he was hurling his “GTF back to your own country” rhetoric at me (I had not initially noticed there was an Indian-American a few feet behind me). I wondered how he knew I was Canadian until I noticed the other chap and realized who his real target was.
Oh, dear. Hubby and I are planning to go to South Carolina in March, to Charleston and Hilton Head, then make a day trip to Savannah, Georgia.
We heard Charleston is nice.
Charleston is lovely to visit and we often try to add in a trip there as my in-laws’ city is less attractive. Savannah is also a great place to visit.
Good to know. If we go, I’ll try to stay away from pick-up trucks.
This reminds me a bit of when I take my family around the Cotswolds in the UK.
My wife has been told a few times that she is not white but Mediterranean (she is tanned due to Brazil weather)
They all assume I am Canadian due to the way I pronounce a few words.
I find this all a bit amusing but my wife got a bit mad when she dealt with it.
Charleston and Savannah are quite nice. If you have flexibility in your schedule, spending a day on Cumberland Island is pretty cool. You can catch the ferry from St Mary’s GA for a day trip.
We generally include some time on Kiawah Island when we visit Charleston. It is a great place to rent bicycles to get around as there are dedicated bike paths and little traffic on the roads where cars are permitted. There is not much to do there except relax.
