Just finished watching. Great ending!

okay, who could have imagined that both hockey finals would come down to US v. Canada, that both would end up being 1-1 and go to overtime, and that both US teams would win? Pretty incredible.

I went to check what time it was on yesterday at like 10am only to find it was already over.

I’ve never been to the Olympics before, but we’re planning a huge family vacation for Brisbane 2032. My brother and I lived there for half a year in 2005 when he did study abroad and I bummed around after graduation. Our kids will be 9-15, which seem like a good age for it.

one of my “bucket list” things is to visit a whole Olympics - opening ceremonies, events, tourism, closing ceremonies. Outside of the US, obviously, to make it a thing.

Not sure how easy that is. My brother lives in Atl, when they hosted everything was by lottery, so popular stuff was hard to get and everything was very expensive.

May be a way to buy packages and maybe less expensive outside US

Good luck

I went to track and field 3 or 4 days and baseball one day in ATL. was fun. until the bombing scare, but fortuantely I wasn’t near it

At SYD I went to 3 days of track and field and saw the marathon and cycling road race (free). Swimming tickets for Brisbane will be expensive because it’s very popular in Australia and the stadium is smaller.

I doubt we’ll be that picky unless any of the kids get really into a particular sport between now and then.

I had a blast for the Atlanta Olympics, but didn’t do any of the big ticket items other than women’s soccer. I did see a lot of lower demand events.

He is probably serious. IIRC he sponsored the womens water polo team after their sponsor fell through and they had no money

Yahoo reporting Flavor Flav has now expanded, inviting all female medalists from the Olympics and paralympics to Vegas. Dude is the ultimate hype man.

Sorry about mocking the US team but Cathal Kelly is a satirist and roasts everybody.

“I mean, none of the team were even black, so it’s not funny!!”

Meh, he just needs to realize that this is one of the Canadian stages of grief. And there’s a log of grief to get through right now.

Hoekstra is not exactly known for being quick on the uptake.

I’m sorry your President is a thin skinned moron.

That seems like the right level of apology

Reports of Jack Hughes now dating Tate McRae is maybe the most well timed trolling opportunity ever.
