France was too much. Moroccan keeper was awesome in 1st half, but France just too powerful eventually broke through.

Norway striker Erling Haaland has insisted his side’s chances of winning the World Cup remain “really low”, and said all of the pressure is on England ahead of Saturday’s quarterfinal in Miami.
Haaland, who has scored seven goals in five appearances to fire Norway into the last eight for the first time, said Thomas Tuchel’s side should embrace their status as one of the tournament favourites.
“Really low, still,” Haaland said, when asked to rate Norway’s chances of a historic trophy win.
Today’s match just reconfirms my Group Round view that France is special. Would love to see England in the Final against them but England is a long shot.

Yeah I get England going to England memes. But they are favored v Norway and Argentina looks vulnerable, should have lost to Egypt and barely won what might have been the match of the tourney v Cape Verde.
I still think we will see France and Argentina in the final with France winning but England getting to the final would not be surprising at all.
Agree this is England’s best chance for a deep run in a long while based on the bracket.

Not that long - it was only two world cups ago that they lost to Croatia in the semifinals, after facing Sweden and Colombia in previous rounds. Croatia seemed to be very beatable at the time.
Aside:
Playing stupid-poker with friends last night. $10 buy in, nickel to 50-cent bets, three raises max. So no one wins or loses that much any night. S.D. is about $4.
Some Neanderthal started talking about how soccer players are pussies who roll on the ground when they get barely touched, and that “they” are fixing matches so ARG advance. Other Neanderthals joined in. I was down $4 at the time, but I didn’t join in. They’re Neanderthals and don’t deserve to hear my opinion. Came home with $24.
My FF league has a text group and they are also discussing soccer, but some of them are Neanderthals. So I created a separate group of about 5 of them to talk more sincerely about soccer and I’ve stopped discussing soccer in the main group.
Way better for me not to waste my time.

The governing body’s last-minute tickets sales site, which at times had listed the game as sold out, had 1,178 seats available across five sections of the top deck along the sidelines: 282 in section 344, 299 in section 343, 139 in section 335, 443 in section 334 and 15 in section 333.
