well, once it is out there it can’t be erased from the public’s memory. so anyone accused of something would prefer it not to be public (esp if they contest it as not accurate). so your attorney would def wnat that for their client.
it’s ugly all the way around though.
that’s the unfortunate thing about most one on one crimes in private spaces. proof from a criminal standpoint is really hard, even if the allegations are fully accurate.
i suspect that when all is said and done, he’d have been better off paying the chef he was firing for the whole season as then requested and that will be far cheaper and carry far less future stigma on him than…the path that has unfolded.
But, his manhood! Paying someone off is so emasculating. And then everyone will want to do it. You know what’s better? Strangling someone when they want to be paid for their services. Works every time.
Jaspbrother’s response: “Actual photo of Diggs winning the AFC East this year.”
which makes me wonder: Why was Diggs less good with the Bills and more good with the Patriots?
Could be worse.
He could have stabbed who wanted to be paid for their services and then tried to use court proceedings to hide his actions from public shame.
he was much, much better with the bills. the stats are 103-127 receptions per year, with ~1200-1500 receiving yards per year. he was younger and not coming back from injury there. also motivated to prove himself right for forcing his way out of MIN.
he’s been better than i might have hoped for in NE following the injury and his age. he’s been very good, but not near his younger guy peak
He was awesome with the Bills. Pro Bowl all 4 years and easily one of the top 5 WRs over that span. Had a couple drops in the 2023 playoffs vs the Chiefs which probably cost them the game.
I didn’t realize he’s already 32. So yeah, he probably did peak with the Bills. Huh.
Falcons get to play a meaningful game tomorrow.
They have a chance to say they tied for 1st in the division….though they were eliminated from the playoffs 4 weeks ago
Hoping the Bears can win or Eagles lose today. Would rather take my chances against the Packers than any of these NFC West teams.
With DAL being shown in SoCal, that makes 14 DAL games shown or available in SoCal.
Just counted for a friend who was complaining on a text group that it’s being shown here while two other Fox games with playoff implications are not.
Honestly, Packers are more dangerous (for the Bears) than any of those other teams. But I think Lions are too beat up to put up much of a fight today. Should be an easy win.
More importantly, they enabled the Panthers to win the division. I expect Panthers to have a short playoffs.
Black Monday begins! Smarter GMs plan this, so they look like, to the owner, they’re doing something. Dumb ones try to defend their first decision to hire the coach.
ARI coach gone.
