And this politician thinks giving him $2.4 billion is a win.

Well it was a win, for the billionaire NFL owners. Wonder if they’ll pay a relocation fee.
That’s three NFL teams that have left Missouri.
Changing the tone, how about Rivers start tonight
Rivers looks good but the Colts defence needs to slow down the 49ers.
I cannot understand the officiating on the final DET/PIT play. It was absolutely clear that St Brown’s forward progress was stopped WELL before lateralling to Goff. Can you imagine a defender teeing off on Goff if they ruled forward progress was stopped? There would have been a defensive penalty (in addition to the offensive PI) which would have resulted in one more untimed down. Inconsistent officiating.
there would be no penalty unless a whistle blew.
Goff is fair game as a runner at that point.
I agree a whistle should have been blown making the pass interference penalty moot to the result.
Knowing that an offensive penalty occurred, the call on the field didn’t really matter
example of them changing how they call something based on the situation. middle of game and middle of field? whistle for sure. end of game or near end zone…they let it play out. they know what they get yelled at for sometimes.
the non DPI in the new england/ravens game was something. the CB got burned on a long pass and figured he’d just tackle the WR before the ball arrived. no flag? glad it didn’t change the drive’s end (NE did score a TD) but that wasn’t a hard call to make.
On the Pats-Ravens DPI, I honestly thought it was the right call at full speed and that it was mostly inadvertent contact, but on replay it was obvious that it wasn’t. But from the position the officials are in on the sideline and deep centre it was not an easy spot in full speed.
Bummer that today’s 2 morning games are on Netflix and the Saturday night game on Peacock. Would have watched those but we already have enough streaming services.
Big game on Sunday between the Raiders and the Giants to see who can get a double-digit losing streak.
saw station as NFLX, thinking it was NFL network
I have Netflix, but hate when games are on paid channels
Cowboys and Commanders aren’t must viewing!
That’s true of the DET-MIN game as well, but both DAL and DET have pretty big implications in many fantasy leagues.

I knew your response was very much biased Bears fan, but how utterly wrong you were really makes one assume Booker has been this dirty all season.
Bears fan here, obviously, but I thought it fell into the well-what-was-he-supposed-to-do category. If they really want to avoid hard hits on the QB and allow for reasonable play, the obvious answer is to play 2-hand tag on the QB.
Not a Ravens fan but I thought they earned a shot at the playoffs after their performance against GB. Steelers will have their hands full next week
TB-CAR should be a good game but I can’t see the winner getting past the first playoff round.
Players get fined every week for infractions. Even two Packers got fined for actions in that same game. How exactly does that make Austin Booker a dirty player?
Maybe seek out a treatment program and sober up before next time?
This is from ESPN:
“Stefon Diggs categorically denies these allegations. They are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated – because they did not occur. The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: they are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction. Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law,” Meier said.
According to The Boston Globe, Diggs’ lawyer Michael R. DiStefano said there would be “substantial risk of widespread publicity” that could taint the case without keeping all details sealed.
Diggs’ defense team said it’s working on a monetary resolution to the incident, according to the Globe.
Is there a reason the lawyers would want the records sealed if nothing happened?
Well, there are unsubstantiated accusations. Some (many, times the internet) people may never get the memo that they were unsubstantiated. Of course, they might also be eventually substantiated.
More incriminating: “How much do you want to drop this case?”

Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law,” Meier said.
