Oh, if they win they are definitely fifth seed. If they lose then they could be 5th or 6th depending on factors I don’t recall. I think maybe whether the Chargers win or not.

That reminds me of back in the late 1980s I was up really late, the television station from the nearby town of about 40k went off the air at night, and the final video they showed was of the SBB.

On the one hand, the ravens are unbeatable or seem to be.

On tbe other, when they make their annual “abandon the run in a playoff game” now that they have henry too, it will really be something

Dorsey fired as OC of the Browns. I have no idea if he’s any good as OC but I guess he’s the fall guy for everyone on their offense getting injured this year.

He was previously the Bills’ OC. SIL despised him.

SUCK IT, cheeseheads!!!

Not much incentive for either packers or commanders to win this week. Both destined to play weak teams in the first round of playoffs. Maybe they have a preference to play eagles rather than lions/Vikings in the second week (if they get through)?

I went into my weekly pick’em pool ATS in second place, but down by 7 so a damn near impossible hill to climb. I decided rather than picking games this week I would pick the least popular team in each matchup according to public bets. I was hoping only to maximize the number of times I picked the opposite of the guy in first place.

Yesterday it worked, but it didn’t work. I picked CLE and PIT, opponent picked BAL and CIN. Lost both, so now down by 9 with 14 games to go.

I wound up having 9 games today the opposite of my opponent. I hit all 5 in the early games. If I hit 3 in the late games, break out the

I need SF+3.5, LV+6.5, NYJ+1.5

If I’m still in it tonight, I need MIN+2.5

The Jerod Mayo era is over in New England. No happy ending for Robert Kraft on this endeavor.

KC must also have the backup refs in. :tipping_hand_man:

For the second season in a row the Seahawks and the Bengals both finish in 8th place and the top 7 teams advance.

That’s why I only have one team (Chargers). I only get disappointed once per season except for the 3 out of 14 of the last seasons that they made the playoffs.

Although I could have been a bears fan

parting shot (for me at least) was winning and dropping out of the #1 draft pick. far less likely to be able to trade back and amass picks for the talent infusion they desperately need.

sure, they played a rookie at QB in his 1st game ever and/but he did solidly. But the bills played w no intent to win more than NE could match.

was NE badly coached? I saw a team that fought hard but didn’t have the talent. Odd to jettison a coach after one development season, unless decisions were egregious

The talking heads on fox were going off on that decision.

Especially when Kraft named Mayo the heir apparent to Belichick. Didn’t seem right to can him after 1 year in a rebuild.

I think it’s more about Vrabel being available, and Kraft wanting him instead.

Bengals became the first team to have the passing yards leader, receiving yards leader and sack leader. Still wasn’t enough to make the playoffs. Talk about a team of studs and duds.

Bears dropped 3 draft spots with the win but worth it to end that awful losing streak against GB (was 11 straight). Finally a Caleb Williams late game drive gets paid off with a win.

That timeout by lafluer on the GB kick seemed kind of dumb, it allowed da bears to save their timeout. w/o the timeout we are probably looking at another bears loss
