Yes, I’m hoping that he’s available vs SD if ATL advances. As someone that has had back spasms, I can’t imagine doing anything remotely athletic while experiencing them. He could be fine in a day or 2.
Francisco Alvarez had them the other day on the base path and played the next day.
I have had them and they linger. but i also don’t get injections or have professional trainers.
I assume the Mets are playing the bench, but Atlanta needs a servicable pitcher.

Grant Holmes spent 10 years in the minors. He made his MLB debut in late June. Nuts that ATL is counting on him today. He’s been pretty good so far with ATL, but nobody had that on their bingo card

I know what they mean, but an axis that goes 100 / 50 / 100 just seems wrong to me. Especially as the big Mets logo at the top makes me expect that we’re looking at the probability from the viewpoint of the Mets.

Might have actually been a little lucky that Sale got scratched IFF he can go at least once in SD. Wouldn’t have been great to burn both starters today.

They were saying Ian Anderson might get recalled to start G1. I don’t think he’s pitched in the majors since 2022.
