In one league I am 7-6 despite being the highest scoring team in the league. It’s not just due to a few big weeks, as if I played every team every week I would be 92-51 which is also the best mark in the league. Fortunately in this league the wildcard goes to the highest scoring team, so if I can hang on a bit longer I should make it.
Clinched a playoff spot in league two at 8-5. That league has 6 playoff teams, and it looks like it’s basically impossible to get a bye now. Could be seeded anywhere from 3-6.
I’m out of contention, though we do have a knockout tournament for those not in the playoffs.
This week both my QBs are on bye, so picked up a similarly shitty QB.
A win for the 1 seed, lose and likely 3 seed (and no first round bye). I’m the favorite to win the championship this year, but that’s only 25% chance. I really need to win this league this year. I’m sure it won’t happen. But a bye would help a lot. That way I only have to win two coinflips instead of three.
For the ones that thrive off of hard work, I put them through two-a-days during the bye week. For the ones that thrive off of incentives for good performance, I send them on a vacation during the bye week.
I’m still hanging in there since my opponent didn’t realize G Pickens was a pregame scratch. He also had to straight up Ladd McConkey who was out last night for Brandin Cooks. I need Jamar Chase to outscore Cooks by 9 points (standard PPR).
Chase got 44 points. He’s now 2nd in all of FFB with 317 to Lamar (321) and way in front of the 2nd WR (JJ with 235). Going to need a couple more big games from him.

one league, the highest scorer BY FAR scraped in as last wildcard. Went 6-8 overall. All 6 wins came when he was top or 2nd highest scorer. Somehow went 0-3 as 3rd highest scorer in a given week. Same for 5th highest. led the league in points against.
Won last night and locked up the 1 seed. There are two teams around my level; both didn’t get a bye. Hoping they both lose this week! And/or the 2 seed beats one of them next week.
