I’ve been playing in 2 leagues for a while, and I’ve seen at least few ties to the decimal point.
ETA: I was wrong. Looking back through the standings, some of the ties were before we switched to fractional scoring in one league several years ago. I’ve only seen one with fractional scoring.
I was in a league many years ago where someone needed to win or tie to go to the playoffs. It was exactly tied until the last play when his QB did a kneel down, losing him 0.1 and a playoff spot.
In my league, that is in its 19th season of fractional scoring…
We had one tie in the first or second season. In the first round of the playoffs. By the two highest scoring teams that week. The rules stated that the higher seeded team wins. The lower seeded team went on to post the high score the next two weeks. The higher seeded team in the tie went on to win the championship.
Since then we have had one other regular season tie. I think it was last season. So in 17 full years we had 1 tie, and now have 2 after 18 full years. 12 team league.
I had Stafford in last week when Dak was on a bye. Forgot to set my lineup last night and accidentally left Stafford in which ended up working out great.
deep into the 4th qtr my team score was off by 1.6 points if looking at the espn app or the laptop. (something was off in bijan robinson’s numbers)
opponent landed between them with najee harris almost pushing him past. then the two score sources synched and agreed…and I think I won. but I am not confident it will survive the overnight stat reset
I was a heavy favorite going into Sunday night in both leagues.
I got hit by Lamb in one league, and in the other league the combo of Ferguson doing nothing and Boswell kicking a bunch of FG. Took 2 unlikely L despite decent scoring.
My FF update:
I’m 4-4, high of 104, low of 37.
Last place of four in Division, but my playoff chances, per ESPN are 54%. Up from pre-season where it it was, a priori, 50% (6 get in out of 12). Albeit, the sixth-place playoff team.
Our league has a rule where the top five normal playoff teams are in – three Division champs, next two wildcards based on results, head-to-head, etc., But the final playoff spot goes to the team with the top total score (played players only) of the seven remaining teams. I am five points behind the top of the remaining 7 teams.
And I’m guessing that the ESPN predictor doesn’t include this special league playoff rule.
Due to injuries and bye-weeks, last week i had to start a WR off of the waiver wire.
That combined with the turnover fest that was MNF led to 99,90 - 87.48 loss
Tua + Kyren + Demarcus Robinson(?) = 22.68 on MNF
This week i cannot decide which WR to play (pick 3) in 1PPR:
CD Lamb
Nico Collins - (Out week10)
Khalil Shakir
JSN - (Bye week10)
Tee Higgins - (Out week10)
Cedric Tillman - (Bye week10)
I am leaning towards craziness and starting
Collins @Dallas
Tillman @NO
Shakir vs KC
Yeah, I’m toast, too.
I get to keep the trophy until Dec 30 if I want to. I can be there for the ceremonial Passing Of The Cup. Eh.
Just noticed that the four teams playing on Saturday 12/21 are also playing on WEDNESDAY 12/25
