I mean, Game 7 of the Finals is pretty much the worst possible timing for a torn ACL. Maybe if they make it back without him he could return late in the post season. But I doubt that happens.
This is always an odd time of year as there’s no obvious segue from the nba/nhl finals. The mlb play offs are too far away. Once they happen though, there is a neat segue into college football/ nfl, then March madness, then nba/nhl but now there’s a bit of a gap.
Generally I look to Europe for Wimbledon, The Open (golf) and the Tour de France then to Australia/NZ/South Africa/Argentina for the Australian rules/ rugby finals then to the Vuelta Espana. Still a gap though.
Maybe I should get a life.
