Has anyone ever used a COFP award to undo a STP™?

Just curious. I know you’ve posted about an “unofficial” STP™ where one or more COFPs resulted in us all picking the same team, even though we hadn’t at the beginning of the season.

And the reverse seems less likely… just curious if it’s ever happened.

I have a vague recollection of “yes” but my brain holds details live a sieve holds…well, I can’t remember how that saying goes :man_shrugging:

It happened as recently as Week 18 of last year.
IPD, A_Student, & ldancer911 all used one to change the Browns to the Bengals. Seventeen out of twenty players ended up picking the winning team in that match-up.
That’s the extent of our research…so far. :popcorn:

Hmmm, I think the Bengals had already clinched a post-season berth and couldn’t materially improve or worsen their position, so the game was pretty meaningless to them.

But I guess if you’re sitting on a COFP in Week 18 and it’s burning a hole in your pocket…
