CARNAGE
did they have a choice. Just realized both GB and NYG are playing the week after. That is odd
The wife (GB owner) said that Green Bay was given a choice if they wanted it this early or later (week 14 for GB).
Too lazy to find an article.
Yeah Jets!
didnt hurt the Giants
Panthers take an early lead!
I heard that as well, though, not from your wife…nor mine.
I’m lazy in many ways but not when it comes to finding articles on the web.
I’m not going to post the text as the headline says it all.
J - E - T - S !
due to my massive indifference to sports?
Apparently the answer is no, no it could not be. Barring a miraculous comeback by the Panthers, it looks like there will be a week 7 in our game. SteveWhite, who was the only player without a strike after Week 4, fell on two consecutive strikes, joined by IPD. Down to 3 human players… pick carefully!
The Panthers and the Patriots have been used by every player now. So other than zPanthersSuck, there can be no more picks of those teams.

Man. I was sooo hoping the Pnathers would pull it off. Just for the CARNAGE factor.
The rules don’t clearly provide for what happens if the last 5 players get eliminated on the same week.
If it happens in a given Week 18 round, the rules specify that the round doesn’t count and we go on to the next round and only have co-champions if multiple players go to Week 18 Round 15.
I guess this would be a good time to formalize that I think we should do the same thing if every remaining player is eliminated on a given week before Week 18.
In other words, had the Panthers won yesterday, all 5 remaining players would survive to Week 7. (Otherwise we’d have had a 5-way tie, which isn’t optimal IMO.)
Thoughts? Agree or disagree? I don’t see any other obvious options besides 5-way tie or cancel the week. Am I missing any?
Declare the game host the winner by default?
…
KIDDING!!!
Good idea.
You should also extend it to the case that at least 40% of the remaining players but fewer than all but 1 are eliminated.
…
KIDDING!!! (about the extension)
More than 40% perhaps?
i say all move on
I thought the tie-breaker was the strike 1 week? Which would still have left us with 2 players moving on since they both had a week 3 strike 1.
