A lot of my analysis and conclusions above are wrong (imagine that). The winner of Last Week Winner award has a week 17 loss turned into a tie…not a win…a number of years ago the award was for a win…by at least last year, the competition committee changed it to a tie.

Let’s go over this week’s awards first:

rekrap applied his Week 2 I Guarantee It award to guarantee his Steelers over Browns pick. The Steelers lost, but this was turned into a win for him…bringing his weekly record from 8-8 to 9-7. Even better, though, and, in a way, nullifying his IGT award, is that he won the Week 16 AStudent’s GroupThink award. The original Consensus picks went 10-6, and so he will inherit the Consensus picks this week.

Funemployed used three COFPs to change the Texans to the Titans :heavy_check_mark:, the Rams to the Cardinals :x:, and the 49ers to the Seahawks :heavy_check_mark:. :cut_of_meat: + :bread: = Now, don’t be sad.

Ezekial Cumberland applied his Week 1 I Guarantee It award to guarantee his Browns over Steelers pick. Like Joe Namath, the Browns backed up their guarantee, thus there was no change to his record this week.

Vorian Atreides applied his Jables Home Field Advantage award to his road teams this week. The Falcons lost by 17 :face_vomiting: but the Steelers lost by only two :partying_face: thus his Steelers pick was turned into a win for him. Since this thrust him into first place for this week, he also won the Last Week Winner award which will turn his Panthers over Saints pick into a tie.

Yea it was days later, stupid COVID season and the holidays. I likely would have waited until right before game time on that one (since it was the last) but wasn’t going to keep tabs on it over Christmas.

Congrats Jahiegel! It was very frustrating seeing how many weeks we had basically the same picks… but then again imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I’ll just take my second place finish happily.

I think you actually won by three games with your two COFPs, appreciate you making those moves even though you could have done nothing and won. Much more honorable to play to the final whistle and go for a better record than pull an Eagles.
