I believe so. I see it being necessary to allow someone to get their pick in “early” w/o allowing others w/o strikes to “piggyback” off of a player who already has a strike.

Actually, I still need to survive today’s game and I have already picked NE three times
3? wasn’t it BYE week 2 and week 8? Did you pick them and change off?
one week there was a Covid delay and I wasn’t sure if the game was going to be played (wk 4?) and I was going away for the weekend, so I made a switch in case it got cancelled
wow, seeing if I continued was like waiting for election results
And it seemed at times both teams were trying to lose.
Breaks my heart to do this but I’ll take the New York Giants to lose those week and don’t mind if I actually pick up a strike.

In my overthinking of this, I hoped to play the stronger teams in the match-up to end up with losers throughout. Almost impossible, but what I should have realized is some teams I am just never going to pick, like Pitt or KC, so might as well play their wk 17 opponents when it makes sense
It is funny how many teams I thought were good when I played them, but actually became easy plays
