Saints/Broncos seem to have a pretty wide spread . . . but new Saints’ QB might also have an impact on results.

Denver pulled a pretty nice upset yesterday. Not a stellar game on offense, to be sure; but the Denver defense seemed to keep both the rookie and vet QB in check.

I’m debating between the Eaglets and the Fowlcons.

So, I am assuming Pit/Bal will happen eventually as a week 12 game. Obviously I would love for it to be cancelled as I would get a win on Tampa.

The chain reaction of Covid is making week 13 challenging, even before week 12 is over!

IF I survive I am torn between 3 philosophies.

  1. what I have been doing is try to pick one team from wk 17 matchups to maximize the relevant games. hopefully the better or equal team

  2. give up somewhat and pick a seemingly week 17 loser. not a big veer, and good teams are hard to pick against as it is, especially as choices diminish

  3. this week all the low hanging fruit is against a team in wk 17 I have already picked. Might be worth it, as the idea is to stay in the game.

You’ve thought about this more than me. A large portion of my strategy has been “who is playing the Chiefs this week”

one year when I made it to week 17 I had so few viable games I didn’t have much of a chance, so I check against wk 17.

problem is, I am so anal, I find it hard to depart from the strategy, even though I know at this point of the season I need to go low hanging and just get to wk 17.
