Does it drain into the Gulf of Mexico?

Yes, this was my thinking. They don’t even completely stay in one place as rivers do change course. But they stay in one place more than a cooking pot (which travels from China to the nearby Costco to your house then back & forth from the cabinet to the stove to the dishwasher back to the cabinet a few hundred times to Denver after you get that promotion you’ve been working towards and eventually to Scottsdale, AZ when you retire… way more movement than a typical river over a 40 year span and yet it was considered to mostly stay in one place…) so I figured that by Lucy’s definition a river did too.

A lot of rivers to consider. Mississippi, Missouri, Hudson, Colorado would be popular US rivers. Amazon popular South American river. Probably a ton of smaller ones.

Drains to Gulf of Mexico narrows it to Mississippi and Missouri possibly other Mississippi tributary. Should we go wit. Mississippi River?

By the way, as a result of this game, predictive typing on my phone now recognizes your names! It doesn’t like punctuation in names (sorry John.S.Mill) but Kat987, YankeeTripper, soyleche… my phone knows your names! :joy:

(Lucy too, but that one was already in there as just a normal name.)

You’ve got 6 questions and more than 6 rivers…

Pretty sure it’s just the mississippi. twig isn’t that evil.

Or the Grande. I’m not sure if the Missouri would be considered to drain into the gulf - it drains into the Mississippi, which drains into the gulf…

Is it the Mississippi?

Bwahahahahaha! :smiling_face_with_horns:

(Just kidding… it’s the Mississippi!)

DING DING DING

Congratulations!

I feel like this was a really key question, so it was fitting that soyleche got the item!

FWIW, I would say that the Missouri River drains into the Gulf of Mexico.
