20 Questions Game17

probably Niagara falls

It’s been a while since I’ve been there. Could I pick you up in 20 minutes (assuming we are on the same side)?

Or the Amazon.

Niagara Falls was designated a National Historical Landmark in 1963 by Congress.

I think it’s safe to ignore that.

according to twig it needs to have land to be a landmark

:bump:

I think this was an official question.

It was supposed to be.

yeah, I was waiting to get the answer to that. (Maybe twig is busy)

:bump:

*Re: 4… see Lucy’s definition of “tends to stay put” that would be “yes” for cooking pot and oven and “no” for clothing and tent.

I’m really sorry I dropped the ball guys… I’ve been a little out of sorts today. Let’s just say that it sucks to go to the funeral of someone younger than you.

I’ll do better from now on, I promise.

Well, at a minimum on or very close to the surface of the earth.

I’ve been to waterfalls that I would consider landmarks. And waterfalls definitionally have land as a component anyway.

Thanks guys, it was a long time coming… car accident 2.5 years ago resulted in significant brain damage and his body just gave out 10 days ago. He’d been in skilled nursing facilities the whole time, which is just a crappy way to spend your forties, (especially during a pandemic) but at the same time there was always hope. So it’s this relief that the whole long and terrible ordeal is over, but also a profound loss. He was only 43. 40 when he had the accident.

Parents burying their child is just unnatural and makes me extra sad.

So sorry to hear
