I had TN as my first guess but apparently Memphis is not in TN.

IIRC Memphis runs right up to the border with MS (and AR for that matter). ETA, they probably mistook the Mississippi River as the state. That park is on the river on the TN/AR border. The bridges in the photo is very likely the Memphis Arkansas Bridge (I-55) and the rail bridge in front of it.

Was your first wtw guess NZ due to the sheep? I discounted NZ because vegetation looked more steppe-ish than what I picture NZ as, plus garments of rider looked very cold weather.

wtw took 6 to guess. Chose south pacific to start since i judged too dry for Caribbean. Lol. Was so far away, went to SA because directional was east. Finally got to Caribbean on 4.

wtw took 6 to guess. Chose south pacific to start since i judged too dry for Caribbean. Lol. Was so far away, went to SA because directional was east. Finally got to Caribbean on 4.

I started Portugal, as usual having little idea based on a picture. Then went to Brazil since direction from Portugal was SW. Got to Caribbean on 3, but didn’t get to correct place within 6. For me, both WTW and Worldle are far more about direction / distance than about shape or picture, except at times the shape is helpful. Picture almost never is helpful enough for a 1
