Oregon was actually my first choice, but went with Virginia since more eastern states if first guess wasn’t right. Then I suspected Oregon was more than 2216 miles from VA, so I went with Wyoming (suspecting it was less than 2216, but a good location to work from)

One of these days I might look at our results comparing worldle to wtw. I have a feeling that the more we play, the former is going to become more and more easier than the latter. Sometimes we’ll get a photo (that I don’t recognize) and there might only be a handful of countries where it could be taken. More frequently though, if it’s a close-in shot like this photo - it could be one of dozens.
