I nearly got a 2 today. I looked at the possible words and thought, “that one is the best wordle word”. But i decided to go for maximum useful info, instead, on guess 2.

I wanted to make the winner my second guess also (without even trying to consider what all the possibilities were), but I couldn’t justify making a second guess that would give me no information about new letters. But when guess 2 gave me no new letters, and now I knew where the yellow letter went, I tried it.
