I didn’t pay too much attention to the statistical thoughts, figured I wanted to start with a word with 2 vowels to get more information.

OK so my record for 98 of the first 100 is
0-1-19-46-26-3-3
My new three words continued to do better than the first 35.
Starting at 101 I’m going to try a slow experiment. Cheating.
I won’t add these in with my regular games, but I’m going to take the information and compare it with the word list in Excel and possibly the remaining letter distribution to see if I can make better educated guesses and beat the 4.20 overall average or the 4.11 average with my most recent three words.
I plan to start with the same first word, CURES, and then take my time from there to see if a better guess or new word can me made to fit the existing evidence.

So far I have two 3’s and a 6.

On my third attempt, my word gave me ? X X X ?
so remove the X’s from all possible letters, and after that insist on at least one of each ?
That search narrowed down to the field to 67 words.
I tried putting the ?'s in the most likely locations and that worked, and got Y X X Y X
Now I had two letters fixed and three more letters ruled out.
That search narrowed down to only 2 words, both recognizable, and it worked to pick the more common one.

You guys are all :nerd:s. Whatever happened to just guessing some words and then guessing some others? You all gotta actuate and optimize your word selection and shit.
