Ugh. Couldn’t get anything solid for several tries. Then I burned the fifth word to narrow it down, and that left me with two options for the final guess.

not surprised that’s a word, though my guess 3 (producing 4 greens) seemed attractive at the time. I hadn’t even thought of the right answer when I made guess 3.

I agree. I got it, but had this word as a “2” on my list, which means it could be a word, but I wouldn’t expect them to use it. Others in that category are all plural 4-letter words, e.g., BOMBS, anything a bit risque, e.g., COCKY, anything a bit obscure/higher level, e.g., TORUS, and anything slang, e.g., GONER.
3 means definitely in play.
1 means, definitely not in play - e.g., I’ve never heard of the word or way too obscure.
I’m sure there are some 1s that should be 2s or even 3s if I just missed it.
The only other 2 that I remember being an answer was the foreign currency.
That’s a tough one. I’ve been burnt like that before so I try to flush out as many consonants as possible in the first couple of words (in hard mode).
