My 2nd perfect game on the daily puzzle. Guessed first two letters well at the start which was the key and then the rings were pretty helpful today at the intersections.

I can’t, but I am the programmer and I load it to my iPad directly from the code. When I changed the scoring to give points for strikes 5 and 6, I decided to put it on my machine as if I had bought the no ads feature!

My first 725 ever. May not be the only 725 today.

That’s great. I got 335. Couple wrong guesses in getting some letters on the board. Once I got a few letters, it was a lot easier because of the letters that fell in the intersections of the rings.

In with 725 as well. If not for the nudge, I might not have thought so hard on the earlier letters.

For me, influenced heavily by the time before when actmds got 725 and I didn’t, the key to 725’s is guessing vowels early. A no-brainer to start with 2. Probably a no-brainer to guess a third, depending on how many you already have and where. Maybe a no-brainer for 4th and 5th, again depending on what you have. After 4, if still in the hunt for 725, rare but possible to try a 5th vowel before starting consonants.

Admittedly still only one 725, so who knows whether this is a good strategy, but it feels right and cuts down on the early mental effort.

I think my new strategy will be to get what I get on the daily puzzle and then play random puzzles until I get 725 points!

Actually wanted to see how hard it would be. Now I too got 725 points today! Just not in the daily game alone.

Does this count as close? Only one game played, and I got an anagram of 725 for a score. At that, I still had a 50-50 guess (which I guessed right) for the last letter.

I got 365 today. I had a 50-50 guess on the last letter too and guessed wrong for an additional strike.

My wife got a 725 today. I think that was her first on the daily puzzle.
