Cunningham gets a “warm” Canadian reception and handles it well.
Most famous basketball player ever with < 8 ppg and < 3 rpg over the first 7 years of her career. Had another big game last night
Probably because no one boo’d her at that game.
But what’s not captured is whether or not the opponent was covering her to the extent that other players were open and better positioned for scoring.
She’s their fourth option, there is only so much defensive attraction she gets.
Quiz time: who is the leading scorer for Indiana? Hint: it’s not Caitlin Clark
Mitchell/Boston/Clark are their clear Big 3. Doesn’t really matter which one puts the ball through the hoop.
Everyone else is just there for support.
Dream, Valkyries to play G6 WNBA Finals matinee at State Farm - ESPN
They are looking to avoid playing a playoff game in the Atlanta Dream’s regular venue, which holds only 3,500 people. My question is, when you re-schedule to a weekday 12:30 start just 72 hours before tip, will the additional crowd that shows up make up for lost TV viewers? Setting aside commentary about how many people may or may not be watching these games anyway. If it were on Thursday evening as scheduled I might flip to it and watch for a bit…no chance at 12:30 in the afternoon.
