30 chicks at the same time, man.
Heck even just $1M would be enough that, combined with my existing retirement savings, I could retire. Iād be satisfied with that. Anything above that amount has significantly less utility for me.
@T-roy are you looking for more investors in your lottery pool?
I want the shot of inheriting $500M by spending $30M in 30 days.
@twig93 I will ask
Youāre gonna have to come woo the whole group, imo. Iād like you to make your best pitch to be included using interpretive dance.
I have no idea what that was, but it moved me. Iāll sponsor your membership.
I am not a billionaire. Me sad.
I have another shot at it. Me happy .
Win one for the Gipper!!!
Iām a little surprised the jackpot is growing as slowly as it is. The jackpot (Annuity amount) is calculated based on what the cash amount will buy. A couple years ago the ratio of the cash value to the annuity value was often above 2/3, it is currently less than 1/2.
Rise in interest rates, no doubt.
Yeah. The increase in odds over the years and increase in ticket price and increase in years payable along with āinflation adjustmentsā to the payouts were all instituted at least partially because the lower interest rates caused the jackpotās annuity values to increase more slowly and didnāt get as much frenzied buying at astronomically high jackpots.
Iām old enough to remember when we were bidding on 20 year (19 payments) annuities at 8 and 9% interest to the state lotteries.
F*ck the hell yeah!
We, the GoA Lotto Investors, win about 1 in every 6 drawings, on average
just get scorsese to direct it. pay him like $500m, heāll do it
I often daydream about that movie.
Iām quite certain Iād take the $1,000,000 wimp clause. Even better if itās adjusted for inflation, but either wayā¦
inflation adjusted would be about 3x (and going up!)
scorseseās brewsters millions: take my fān money! Take it! You gonna take my money or do i gotta break some legs?!?
