I took my daughter for her booster within 24 hours of her arriving home for Xmas.
Loner says I should have had her rapid tested first since she had been through airports, on a plane, etc. I wasn’t aware of this and can’t find any guidance on it.
I mean, it’s too late now, but should you not get a booster if you have had potential exposure? She was tested twice before leaving.
Sounds (Smells?) like BS to me.
Nothing anyone tells me about stuff they are not experts in gets any credible weight. “Provide a credible source, and we’ll discuss; otherwise, respectfully, STFU.”
My son tested positive between first and second dose. We were told by his doctor to get him the second dose as scheduled as it was outside the isolation period.
Yeah, if you get monoclonal antibodies you need to wait until they clear your system, or they may bind the vaccine enough that it doesn’t trigger your immune system. And maybe that’s even an issue if you get monoclonal antibodies immediately after being vaccinated.
I was a little tired after my booster & had a sore arm. He was in bed for like 20 straight hours. I think I might have slept for 10 hours after my booster. Considering that 8 is “normal”, he had 6x the excess sleep of me. And was more “wiped out” when he was awake too.
We had the same sequence: two doses of Pfizer and then a Moderna booster.
Normally I am the one who looks at a sick person from a great distance and get sick while people can cough all over him and he doesn’t get sick. So this was surprising to me.
I did develop a slight temp late in the day. It broke over night. I dragged myself out of bed this morning bc I had a chiropractor appt and thought the adjustment might feel good after yesterday. Glad I did that.
